Thailand wants photos of fit ladies over 40

Beautiful candidates must first become Facebook fans

Women over the age of 40 who think they’re fit and healthy for their age are invited to send photos of themselves to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as part of a new marketing campaign.

The global beauty competition, called the Fabulous 40+ Photo Contest, is part of the TAT’s “Find Your Fabulous” wellness and medical tourism campaign.

To win a three-day trip to Bangkok, candidates must first become Facebook fans of ThailandMedTourism and the Find Your Fabulous campaign. Then they should submit their finest photos with their name, age range (40+, 45+, 50+), current location and a description of the photo. Winners will be chosen in online voting.

“Submissions should show the fresh face and figure, confidence, poise, and charisma that defines the modern, fabulous woman today in her 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond,” TAT says.

The contest runs until September 30, the winners’ announced via Facebook on October 3.
