Tourist bus crashes in Norway

Tourist killed, many injured, after accident
One of Scandinavia’s most picturesque tourist areas can also be one of its most dangerous. On the way to the picturesque Trollstigen mountain road in Norway, a tourist bus collided with a car on Saturday and fell down a six-metre drop.
A tourist was killed in the accident and 14 others were sent to hospital. Two are in a serious condition. The bus was taking 41 tourists from Ukraine to the famous site. It landed on its roof, which was squashed flat.
“There was a collision before the bus was pushed off the road. Detailed investigation over the next few days will reveal more about the events and the cause of the accident,” Elin Drønnen from the local police force told Norway’s VG newspaper.
