Travel expo to host 1200 sq m Dubai stand

Stand to showcase 183 co-participants at ATM-2012

What Dubai calls its “vibrant tourism industry” and appeal as a year-round business and leisure destination will be on show next week at the 2012 edition of the Arabian Travel Market, one of the world’s biggest travel and tourism expos. The event takes place from April 30 to May 3.
Dubai Tourism will use the show this year to promote several of its initiatives, including the New Hotel Classification Scheme and the Dubai Green Tourism Award. The Dubai Stand measures 1195 square metres and will have 183 co-participants – an increase of 4% over the previous edition. This includes 16 new participants, such as Aero Space Tourism, the Dubai Camel Racing Club, Balloon Adventures Emirates, Europcar and a number of new boutique hotels. The number of media and tour operators invited stands at 204 from 19 countries.
