Travel show to hit Stockholm shopping mall

Stockholm Travel Show to be held at Gallerian centre

A travel trade show is due to take place in one of Sweden’s best-known spots, the Gallerian shopping mall, in October. Stockholm Travel Show will be a Thursday-to-Saturday event, on October 24-26.
Gallerian is located close to Sergels torg in central Stockholm, with about 60,000 visitors per day. The travel show’s organisers expect to have up to 180,000 visitors during the weekend.
“We expect about 50 exhibitors, everything from destinations, ferry and cruise lines and charter to airlines, hotels and tourist agencies among others,” the organisers said in a statement. “Stockholm Travel Show will be held in the main street in Gallerian, next to stores, cafés and restaurants.”
“All Inclusive” packages are on offer and the organisers say they “welcome new collaborations and partnerships”. Admission is free for visitors.
The fair has a consumer focus and the goal is “a professional, entertaining and different fair in the middle off the city pulse” and to “get very close to the customers”.
