Trolltunga beats Victoria Falls for selfie top spot

Trolltunga named “most stunning place for a selfie”

Trolltunga, the stunning beauty spot in Norway, has beaten other world-class sites such as Africa’s Victoria Falls to clinch the title “most stunning place in the world to take selfie”. It was given the title by the internet news and entertainment site Buzzfeed.

The “Troll’s Tongue” famously hangs out of a mountain around 700 metres above Ringedalsvatnet Lake in Hordaland.  Buzzfeed describes it as “a thrill-seeker’s dream”, adding: “In order to preserve the rock’s beauty, no safety barriers have ever been built, but the four-hour trek will create the photo of a lifetime.”

Besides the Victoria Falls, the Tongue also beat the Dead Sea’s Mineral Beach, Chittorgarh Fort in India and the atmospheric town of Hội An in Vietnam.
