TTG Nordic to unite with Stand By Nordic

Scandinavia’s two leading travel publications join forces

The two leading Nordic travel publications have agreed to merge all activities in the Nordic countries.

As from August 15, TTG Nordic will become part of Stand By’s bi-monthly magazine and jointly have more than 28,000 readers.

In Denmark, Stand By will retain its name, while TTG Nordic will continue as a brand for the rest of the Nordic countries. The merger will also result in the newsletters at, and being seen daily by more than 37,000 readers, becoming the number one choice for travel industry media in the Nordic countries.

TTG was the world’s first weekly magazine for the travel industry when it began publishing in London in 1953. While the original Travel Trade Gazette continues to publish weekly in the UK under brand owner TTG Media Limited, the brand is now also licensed to partners including TTG Italia, TTG Russia, TTG Poland, TTG Hungary and TTG Czech Republic, as well as TTG Nordic.
