The tour operator is expanding with 15 new hotels around the Mediterranean, with the TUI Family Life, Sensimar and Sensatori brands.
TUI Group is about to expand its international portfolio of concept hotels with the addition of 12 new properties under the Sensimar brand and three new TUI Family Life hotels in 2019.
While some of the new hotels are located in top destinations such as Spain, Greece and Turkey, others will expand the brands to Italy, Egypt, Tunisia and Croatia.
As part of this expansion, the tour operator will also debut a new hotel in the Greek island of Santorini, with the TUI Sensimar Meltemi Blue.
In addition, the TUI Sensatori Barut Fethiye Resort not far from Marmaris in southwestern Turkey will be extended with the construction of a new building next to the hotel.
This will take the portfolio of the operator’s three international concept hotel brands from 88 to 103 hotels in 16 countries, the group says.
Broadly, a concept hotel is more than just its design, also encompassing the service the hotel management company offers, its ambiance, attention to detail, the experiences for guests and the quality.
The group’s overall hotel portfolio currently comprises 380 hotels and resorts, 50 of which are operated by third-party hoteliers.
“For our three international concept hotel brands, we plan to deliver strong growth in cooperation with local partners,” says Sebastian Ebel, TUI Group’s executive board member in charge of hotels and resorts.
“Our concepts offer TUI’s renowned quality and a unique holiday experience, resulting in high customer satisfaction levels and occupancy rates in the hotels.”
The group “will continue to set standards for the holiday hotel industry in the future”, he added.
“We are also driving our growth roadmap in the hotel segment further ahead through our TUI Blue, Robinson and TUI Magic Life brands and our longstanding joint venture partners such as Riu.”
