UK upgrades Norway terror warning

But Norway is now in same category as Sweden
The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office has upgraded its terror threat for Norway in a warning for travellers. But put into perspective, Norway is now on the same level as Sweden, Cyprus and Spain.
The World Economic Forum named Norway the world’s seventh safest country in April, but the UK now lists it in its “likely” category for a terror attack.
“Terrorists are likely to try to carry out attacks in Norway,” the FCO says. “Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners.
“There’s a heightened threat of terrorist attack globally against UK interests and British nationals from groups or individuals motivated by the conflict in Iraq and Syria. You should be vigilant at this time.”
The updated travel advice is in response to intelligence the FCO has received about the terror threat throughout Europe.
Countries with a higher “very likely” threat include France, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Austria and Macedonia. Even higher is Russia in the “high” category, with the UK at the top with “severe”.
