Vegan fjord cruise announced

Activities include making vegan toothpaste and cheese
A vegan cruise around the Norwegian fjords has been announced by a British passenger shipping company.
Cruise and Maritime Voyages promises guest speakers offering “expert knowledge on diverse vegan subjects”, as well as lifestyle classes and a wellness program including yoga and pilates.
The sailing on board Columbus from September 25 will also feature a 100% vegan menu, with buffets as well as “multi-course dinners”.
Speakers include Dr Michael Greger, a physician and expert on nutrition and author of the New York Times bestseller How Not to Die, and Melanie Joy, psychologist and author of Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows.
There will also be plant-based dietician Julieanna Hever and Wendy Turner Webster, a TV presenter and expert on jewellery and crafts made from recycled materials.
Daytime activities may include making vegan toothpaste and vegan cheese. Passengers following gluten free, raw food and macrobiotic diets are welcome, the company said.
