Michael Schüller has 20 years’ experience in travel trade
Michael Schüller is the new chief executive of the business travel management company VIA Egencia Sweden, it has been announced. He has 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, most recently at American Express in areas such as operations, account management and meetings and incentives.
VIA Egencia has expanded widely in Sweden and says it foresees continued growth in the Swedish market. Formerly VIA Travel, it was purchased by Expedia in 2012. The launch of new technology solutions in Sweden and the Nordic countries as well as continued growth will be among Schüller’s responsibilities.
VIA Egencia Nordic currently has approximately 1,000 employees, including 270 at VIA Egencia Sweden.
