Viking Line offers new beauty exclusive

Finland’s Viking becomes the first cruise ship in Europe to offer the US brand Benefit Cosmetics.

Viking Line has become the first to offer the US brand Benefit Cosmetics aboard a passenger vessel in Europe. It is now available on all seven of the line’s vessels, DFNI reports.

The American cosmetics brand was launched in San Francisco in 1976 by twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford as a beauty boutique specialising in quick-fix beauty products.

Eva Rehnström, Viking Line’s beauty and fashion purchasing and sales manager, commented: “We are very happy to be the first to launch Benefit Cosmetics in Finland and on the Baltic Sea, onboard all our cruise ships.”

She added: “We’re also proud to offer their brow bar services onboard Viking Grace. Benefit Cosmetics is a unique beauty and cosmetic brand that believes in laughing and having fun while offering innovative and high-quality products for almost any beauty dilemma.”

Paint it pink
Benefit Cosmetics aims at a “fun-loving, freethinking and totally new approach to beauty” with creative packaging and product names.

It also offers popular brands such as the lip and cheek stain Benetint, the face primer The Porefessional, the mascara They’re Real, and a 70-reference collection of brow products.

“Benefit is thrilled to paint in pink all the Baltic Sea for this first launch onboard all Viking Line vessels,” said Violaine Houze de l’Aulnoit, Benefit’s key account manager for travel retail in mainland Europe.

“For the first time ever on a cruise ship in Europe, you will be able to discover exclusive services thanks to Benefit’s unique brow waxing technique. We truly believe that the collaboration between Benefit and Viking Line is the perfect fit.”

She concluded: “Our goal at Benefit with this collaboration is to put a smile on the face of every woman, enjoying a nice trip on a Viking vessel.”
