Vueling says no to IAG takeover bid

IAG already owns 45.85% of the fast-growing LCC

The board of the Spanish low-cost airline Vueling has recommended that its shareholders reject the offer of a takeover by International Airlines Group.
IAG, the parent company of both Iberia and British Airways, already owns 45.85% of the fast-growing LCC. However, the board said the offer of €7 per share did not reflect Vueling’s real value.
