Wellness to take off at WTM

WTM Wellness Lounge sells out of space
The inaugural WTM Wellness Lounge at the World Travel Market London 2015 has already sold out of allotted space, more than two months before the show.
A total of 25 exhibitors, including 20 businesses making their debut appearance at the show, have booked space for the lounge which will be open on November 4-5.
Those taking part will be given a private pod within the lounge, a networking breakfast with wellness buyers, priority access to WTM Speed Networking sessions and an online networking tool.
They will also get an invite to the Wellness Travel Awards Reception, exposure to the WTM Buyer database and access to 250 wellness buyers via the show’s visitor database.
Exhibitors will include Iceland’s Blue Lagoon, India’s Somatheeram Ayurveda Group and the UK’s Visit Bath. New exhibitors include Anand Collection, which represents upmarket properties and resorts; the Hotels Plaza Andorra chain and Healing Hotels of the World.
“The success of our new Wellness Lounge reflects the rapid growth of the wellness industry generally,” said World Travel Market London senior director Simon Press. “The global wellness market is now valued at $3.4 trillion and is growing fast, as more people want to improve their physical and mental wellbeing during their leisure time.”
