Where did Obama go on holiday?

Former US president vacationed in several places
Barack Obama returned to the public stage yesterday with an appearance at the University of Chicago, looking relaxed, cracking jokes and promising to help the next generation of leaders.
He looked like a man who had been on a long holiday, joking: “So, uh, what’s been going on while I’ve been gone?”
Obama has kept a low profile since his second term ended, building his foundation and starting to write a memoir. The Obamas signed book deals with Penguin Random House, with a “significant portion” of the huge advances to be donated to charity.
He’s also taken some holiday time, starting in Palm Springs, California, for a weekend away with Michelle Obama. A few rounds of golf had been on the cards but poor weather kept them inside for much of the time.
From there they boarded a private jet to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, where they spent time with billionaire businessman and Virgin Group mogul Richard Branson. There, Obama and Branson did some kitesurfing, with Branson posting a video of it on YouTube.
The Obamas stopped back in the States for visits to New York and Washington DC before the former president spent a month in French Polynesia including a stay on Tetiaroa, actor Marlon Brando’s privately owned retreat.
The island, which the actor bought in the 1960s, is now home to the ‘eco-friendly’ Brando resort, which has private villas costing up to $2,150 a night. Obama also spent time on the yacht of music mogul David Geffen.
