TripAdvisor presents sites with most reviews over the last year

TripAdvisor has published a list of the places around the world that have produced the most reviews from users over the last year. In Europe, Paris dominates the reviews, specifically the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. In Asia, the Skytrain (rot fai fah) in Bangkok attracted the most user reviews, with one commenting that it is “easy to navigate and cool”. Victoria Peak in Hong Kong came second – “An ideal place to overlook the glorious harbour and gorgeous urban scenery”.
In the Middle East, the Dubai Fountains attracted the most attention among reviewers, with the Burj Khalifa coming next. In North America, it was also fountains that enchanted TripAdvisor users; the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas gave a light show that “almost brought me to tears”, enthused one reviewer. Central Park, New York City, meanwhile, was described as “a beautiful place to explore and relax in the middle of the city.”
In Africa, reviewers loved Table Mountain in Cape Town, where a “cable car slowly turns you round as you rise up the hill, giving you 360 degree views”, and Majorelle Garden (Jardin Majorelle) in Marrakech, Morocco.
In Central America, Cave Tubing with Vitalino Reyes in Belize drew the most reviews, followed by the Panama Canal; in South America, Sugar Loaf Mountain (Pao de Acucar) in Rio de Janeiro, and Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires yielded the most enthusiasts. Finally, in the South Pacific, the great attractions were Sydney Harbour and Melbourne’s City Circle Tram.
