WTM 2014 to highlight wellness tourism

Program to take place across three days of WTM

World Travel Market 2014 is launching its first program to support wellness tourism.

Organised by Spafinder Wellness 365 in association with the Global Wellness Tourism Congress, the WTM Wellness Tourism program will take place across three days at the WTM, on November 4-6.

Some of the leading experts and executives from the sector, which is growing at 9% a year, will share their experience and insights. Speakers will be announced throughout the year.

The first session on November 4 will explore what Wellness Tourism is and why it is growing faster than the wider travel and tourism industry. The second session on November 5 looks to define both medical tourism and wellness tourism, which are often confused. It will look at opportunities in both sectors and how they can work together.

The third session on November 6 will look at how businesses and national and regional governments have successfully integrated wellness tourism into their marketing campaigns.
