WTM launches first luxury showcase

A Taste of ILTM will see up to 60 luxury buyers

World Travel Market is launching its first luxury showcase at this year’s event. “A Taste of ILTM at WTM”, taking its acronym from the International Luxury Travel Market that takes place regularly in Cannes and Shanghai, will take place on the Monday and Tuesday of the WTM event in London, on November 4 and 5.
A Taste of ILTM at WTM will see up to 60 luxury UK buyers – who buy global products – hold a minimum of 30 prescheduled business meetings with luxury exhibitors.
Meetings will be up to 20 minutes long. The two-day event concludes with a high-profile headline speaker from the luxury sector and a Champagne networking reception.
“The luxury market has ridden the recent global financial downturn better than any other sector and is a growing market around the world,” said Simon Press, senior exhibition director of the World Travel Market.
Both exhibitors and buyers will have access to the full four days of WTM (November 4-7), as well as the co-located Travel Tech Show and Business Travel Market.
