WTM London 2017 registration opens

Exhibitors expected to conduct record business
WTM London has opened registration for its 2017 edition. Scheduled for November 6-8, its organisers promise the new-look three-day event will be the most successful yet.
Exhibitors are expected to conduct even more business than last year’s record £2.8 billion (€3.13 billion), due in part to a new speed networking session on the Tuesday morning. Each of the daily sessions will take place between 09:00 and 10:00.
Monday sees buyers in the sessions split by geography, the new Tuesday session sees buyers split by the sector they purchase, and the Wednesday session is the Digital Influencers’ Speed Networking (formerly called Bloggers’ Speed Networking).
The WTM Inspire Theatre, a 300-seat amphitheatre, returns to the exhibition floor in the North Hall, while the WTM International Media Centre remains on the exhibition floor. A taste of the luxury-focused ILTM returns across all three days of the event and is joined by a new Wellness & Spa section.
More than 80 seminars will take place covering aviation, hotels, wedding and honeymoon, gastronomy, sports tourism, responsible tourism, digital influencers, social media and travel technology.
November 6 will remain an exhibitor invite-only day, allowing exhibitors to conduct business meetings with key suppliers. The event will kick off with the WTM Speed Networking at 9am – before the exhibition floor opens at 10am. On November 7 the UNWTO & WTM Ministers’ Summit will take place.
On November 8, WTM will host World Responsible Tourism Day, the biggest day of responsible tourism action in the world.
WTM London 2017 will conclude with WTM Festivals, which will see a number of exhibitors hosting parties showcasing their culture, music and cuisine.
