WTM plans packed finale for final fourth day

Social media, blogging, responsible travel, green skiing…
WTM London 2015 will be making sure its very last fourth day goes out with a bang, with a packed program covering everything from social media and responsible travel to careers and blogging.
As previously reported, this year’s WTM will be the last to run for four days. From 2016, the event will run for three days.
The final fourth day will be busy, kicking off at 09:00 with a WTM Speed Networking event for the WTM Buyers’ Club, while a Holiday Matters conference will start at the same time.
A second speed networking session will take place at 10:00, while tech entrepreneurs can visit the #DTTT Travel Start-Up Pitches run by Digital Tourism Think Tank founder Nick Hall and featuring TourCMS chief executive Alex Bainbridge.
Green skiing will be up for discussion at the Responsible Tourism and Snowsports session. Elsewhere social media consultancy Travel Perspective will be looking at a number of online networks, from Instagram to Twitter. Another session run by the consultancy will study Google’s plans to make shopping easier from search.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Travel & Tourism will be engaging with trade students when it hosts the ITT Future You Conference, which will also see TTG’s Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders on hand to provide their tips and advice.
Responsible travel will again fall under the spotlight with a session called Freshwater and Marine Cruising, examining the impact of cruise on the environment.
